QJO is the best output form for a Personal Agent — a friendly family of displays that live in your rooms, not in your pocket. Your AI thinks, plans, and watches the world for you. QJO is where it shows you: on the desk, the fridge, the doorway, the wall. Glanceable, persistent, and calm.

How it works
Any AI → QJO Cloud → Any Screen
One MCP endpoint is the whole integration. Your agent discovers your displays, learns exactly what each one can do, and pushes the right format — in a single tool call.
🤖 Any AI / Personal Agent
Any MCP-capable model or agent framework. No custom SDK per device, no per-screen code. If it can call tools, it can use QJO.

☁️ QJO Cloud — the MCP Server
The cloud MCP server holds the display registry and the capability manifest, routes each push to exactly one screen, and relays only encrypted payloads.
The QJO App on your devices, or dedicated hardware running QJO firmware: an MCP execution terminal that renders text, images, HTML, video, sound, and light.
QJO AppE-PaperLCDQJO firmware
The model always knows what it is talking to. The MCP manifest describes every display — size, resolution, color capability, speaker, light, touch — so the agent automatically picks a crisp text card for a 4-inch e-paper, a rich dashboard for a 15-inch LCD, and a chime only when sound is welcome. Richer capabilities join the same manifest over time, with no re-integration.
The lineup
Three ways to give your AI a face
Start with the devices you already own, add paper-calm e-paper where quiet matters, and go big and interactive with LCD where the whole room should see it.
📱
QJO App
Turn any device you already own into a QJO display. Full-screen kiosk mode, encrypted sync, and a QR claim that takes about 30 seconds. Perfect for the old tablet in a drawer, a spare phone, or the family photo frame.

QJO E-Paper
Paper, not a screen. Always-on with zero glow, readable in sunlight, and sips power — the small class runs for months on a charge. Magnetic backs and desk stands put calm information exactly where life happens. Dedicated units run QJO firmware as native MCP endpoints.

Content & alerts
If your AI can make it, QJO can show it
Every content type is defined in the MCP interface itself, so the model knows its options up front — and picks the right one for the screen in front of it.
📝
Text cards
Briefs, reminders, lists, and schedules, typeset for the exact size and color depth of each display.
🖼️
Images & photos
Charts, snapshots, artwork, and family photos — dithered beautifully for e-paper, full-fidelity on LCD.
🧩
Interactive HTML
Real, tappable mini-apps: dashboards, checklists, timers, and controls rendered natively on capable screens.
🌐
Live URLs
Point a display at a live page — a portfolio view, a transit board, a home dashboard — and it stays current.
🎬
Video
Short briefs, clips, and camera moments on LCD and App displays, pushed like any other content type.
🔔💡
Sound & light alerts
Optional, always optional. A soft chime or a warm glow when something truly needs you — silence the rest of the time.
Try the idea — push to this screen
Pick a push and watch a QJO E-Paper react. This is exactly what your agent does with one tool call — including the optional glow for the one that matters.
Your brief is ready: two meetings, rain at 3 PM, and your portfolio is up 1.8% overnight. Nothing needs you before 9:30.
For developers & agent builders
MCP-native. One sentence to integrate.
Add QJO to any MCP client config and your model can suddenly show things. Tell your agent: “Use QJO to put my morning brief on the kitchen display every day at 7.” That is the whole integration guide.
// The agent, showing — not telling
display_show_text({
display: "kitchen-epaper",
title: "Dinner is at 7:15",
body: "Grandma arrives at 6:40. Table for six.",
sound: "none", light: "soft"
})
💬 Not on MCP yet? A REST / function-calling mirror exposes the same displays and content types, so any model with tool use can drive QJO today.

The seven core tools above are the live, tested gateway toolset. The expanding set joins the same manifest as firmware and App capabilities roll out — your integration never changes, your agent simply gains new things it can do.
Security & privacy
Encrypted end to end. The relay sees nothing.
A screen on your fridge shows your life. QJO is built so that life stays yours — content is encrypted before it leaves and decrypted only on your display.
🔐
Encrypt on send, decrypt on device
Content is encrypted before upload and decrypted only on the target display. Intermediary storage and relay hold ciphertext only — never the plaintext of what your screen shows.
🛡️
Encrypted channels, always
Every hop — agent to QJO Cloud, cloud to device — travels over encrypted transport. No plaintext display content on the wire, ever.
🔑
Scoped, per-display tokens
An MCP access token can push content but can never impersonate a device; a device token can receive but can never call MCP. Credentials are scoped to exactly one job.
🧱
Per-screen isolation
Every display is its own sealed destination. A push addressed to the kitchen can never surface on the desk, the doorway, or anyone else's screen. And there is no vendor backdoor channel into QJO firmware devices.
Setup
Live in about 30 seconds
Proven in real life: a colleague set up a QJO display and pushed a full month's calendar to it, completely unaided, on the first try.
1
Connect
Power on the display — or open the QJO App on any phone, tablet, or computer — and join your Wi-Fi.
2
Scan to claim
Scan the QR code shown on the screen. The display is claimed to your account with its own scoped device token.
3
Ask your AI
Say one sentence — “Put my calendar on the kitchen screen” — and your agent does the rest, in one MCP call.
Built & tested in real life
Not a render. A working system.
QJO grew out of a hands-on lab where real hardware was flashed, paired, and pushed to — every day, in a real home and office.

FAQ
Good questions
Which AI models work with QJO?
Any of them. QJO is model-neutral: any MCP-capable model or agent can discover and drive your displays through the QJO Cloud MCP server, and models without MCP can use the REST / function-calling mirror with the same capabilities.
What exactly is a QJO display, technically?
An MCP execution endpoint. QJO Cloud is the MCP server your agent talks to; the App or the QJO firmware on dedicated hardware is the terminal that receives a push and renders it — text, image, HTML, video, sound, or light — matched to that screen's declared capabilities.
Can QJO see what is on my screens?
No. Content is encrypted before upload and decrypted only on your display; the relay and storage in between hold ciphertext only. Tokens are scoped per role and per display, so no single credential can both send as an agent and receive as a device.
Do I need to buy hardware to start?
No. Install the QJO App on any Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, or Linux device — an old tablet is ideal — claim it with a QR scan, and your agent can push to it in about 30 seconds. Dedicated e-paper and LCD displays join the same account whenever you are ready.
Why e-paper and LCD?
Different jobs. E-paper is calm, always-on, glare-free, and lasts for months on a charge — perfect for schedules and reminders that should stay put. LCD is color, motion, touch, and video — perfect for dashboards, briefs, and shared spaces. Your agent picks per content, per screen.
Are sound alerts going to make my home noisy?
Only if you ask. Sound and light cues are optional parameters on every push, defaulting to silent. Most content arrives quietly and waits; a chime or glow is reserved for the rare thing that truly cannot.
What can my agent show?
Text cards, images, interactive HTML, live URLs and dashboards, and video — plus optional sound and light alerts. The MCP manifest tells the model each display's size, colors, speaker, light, and touch support, so it formats automatically. The manifest keeps growing richer over time without changing your integration.
